A Sneak Peek at Upcoming Wild Side WordPress Themes

Mar 27, 2019 | Tips & Resources | 2 comments

I’m nothing if not ambitious! It may seem like there’s just SO MUCH NEW STUFF coming out recently, but let me be honest with you: all of this is long overdue!

I’ve been sitting on so much content, design, and endless big ideas for a long time. But – I didn’t want to get it out there until the new Wild Side was up and ready to go. In order to take the next step in helping out all my wonderful tribe of dreamers and trailblazers, I wanted to make sure I did it right.

One of these brilliant ideas is something that people have been asking me for forever – beautiful, custom WordPress themes, at a price that won’t break the bank.

If you’ve read through our web design services you know I’m a big fan of WordPress + Divi Theme because of the awesome flexibility it offers. The only problem with Divi is that so many Divi sites look exactly. the. same. One glance, and yup: it’s Divi!

I’ve always been passionate about unique (and of course, effective!) website design in my client projects, but I know it comes with a pricetag that a lot of bootstrapped business owners can’t afford right now. Enter, Wild Side WordPress Themes!

These themes will be the perfect option for all my Dreamers out there who want something beautiful & professional that they can tailor to their brand, at a price that makes sense for your startup budget.

Taking inspiration from the pantheon of Greek Goddesses, I have a couple of designs in the works right now! The first (and voted the favorite so far by a group of beta testers) is a little number named Aphrodite…you know, goddess of love? Here’s a sneak peek of the what should be coming out in the next month or two:

Meet Aphrodite

Floral, feminine and romantic, she lives up to her namesake. This theme is perfect for everyone from bloggers & creatives to personal brands & product showcases. Customize it to be as pink & girly or as pared back as you like – that’s the brilliance of the Divi framework.

Her sister sites – Selene, Demeter, Persephone & more – will be following short after! Sneak a peek at the homepage below:

How will the themes work?

These will be WordPress themes built on the Divi framework, so technically – Divi “Child” themes. Never heard of Divi? Learn more here. You may have see the recent hype about Showit lately, and although it can be a good alternative it doesn’t pack nearly the features that WordPress and Divi can deliver.

I’ve chosen to build these in WordPress and NOT in Showit so that you’ll be able to integrate your ecommerce shop, membership site, booking plugins and more without needing a separate platform. WordPress has some of the best tools on the market for SEO and integrates with pretty much every possible tool imaginable.

They will include 5 standard pages (home, about, services, portfolio/work, contact) plus a blog layout, but will come with the capacity for you to customize and add elements of your own if you want!

Will I need to purchase Divi?

If you want to set it up on your own and get customized Divi support, yes you’ll need Divi.

BUT (BIG BUT)

We know that it’s not ideal to have to purchase two themes, so we’ll be offering two pricing options: just the theme files (for those of you who have Divi already or want to get your own license), and a white glove theme setup package where we install the theme for you with our Divi theme account, so you can just sit back and relax while we handle everything.

How can I know when you launch?

Sign up for our mailing list below to get updates about when the themes go live – we’ll be offering an exclusive, lightning discount for our subscribers when we launch so make sure you’re on the list!
