International Women’s Day: Get to Know Larissa

Mar 11, 2020 | Tips & Resources | 0 comments

In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, over the next few days, we’ll be posting interviews with each of the members of our team so you can get to know us all a little better. Today, we ask Lari a few questions.

“Alone, woman has power. Together, women have impact.”

Larissa – Designer & Illustrator

1. Where did you grow up?

I’m from Sao Paulo and I’ve lived in the same house since I was born

2. What is your secret talent?

I’m an expert at making cats love me. This is one of the most difficult things in life, considering the cat’s personality. So I believe this is a gift from heaven

3. Dream job?

To be a rapper

4. Your proudest accomplishment?

I learned how to play different musical instruments

5. What do you love most about being a WOMAN?

What I like most about being a woman is being able to do many different things at the same time. It doesn’t mean that we don’t freak out, but it is a female skill that deserves applause

6. The most beautiful place you’ve ever been?

The most beautiful I’ve ever been was The Red Sea, in Egypt. There is nothing red in the Red Sea, on the contrary, it is the clearest and most salty water of all time

7. When you’re having a bad day, you:

I like to be alone with my thoughts, eating chocolate, drinking wine and playing guitar

8. If you had a sign at the Women’s March it would say:

Hey girl, there’s nothing you can do that can’t be done

9. What do you think women are best at?

Doing a lot of different things at the same time

10. What’s the best way we can empower other women?

Stop judging each other, have more empathy and encourage women to do what they want to do. When we support other women, we are helping ourselves

Our mission is to help the trailblazers of tomorrow, those determined to challenge the status quo, make a difference in the world, work and adventure on their own terms, and live to do what they’ve been told is impossible.

We hope you all have an amazing and empowering Women’s day, and remember to celebrate yourself and other fellow women each and every day! Be sure to read and learn every day this week about each of our own Wild Side Women here on the blog!
