The Power of the Pack: Happy International Women’s Day!

Mar 8, 2020 | Tips & Resources | 2 comments

For #InternationalWomensDay, we wanted to dedicate a special post to each and every member of the team at Wild Side. Why? Because we are all women, of course! We think it would be an understatement to say that in the most recent years, women have been standing up for themselves more, making their voices louder, and demanding the attention and rights we deserve. It’s the issues that have been going on for decades that are now getting the megaphone. We’re tired of holding up our damn signs!

“Alone, woman has power. Together, women have impact.”

Not only is women supporting women necessary, it’s essential. In the U.S. especially, money talks. And when we support women getting to the top, we enable the right kind of money to be talking for us. Since 95% of the work we do is with women entrepreneurs, we hold this true within Wild Side. We pride ourselves on helping to bring women’s ideas and brands to life, enabling them to support other women too. This ripple effect of collaboration over competition needs to continue to be spread.

Building a team of all women has enabled us to cultivate a creative, safe and empowering space where all voices are heard and that resonates with our audience and market. And we’re proud of it! In honor of this occasion, over the next few days, we’ll be posting interviews with each of the members of our team so you can get to know us all a little better.

Our mission is to help the trailblazers of tomorrow, those determined to challenge the status quo, make a difference in the world, work and adventure on their own terms, and live to do what they’ve been told is impossible.

We hope you all have an amazing and empowering Women’s day, and remeber to celebrate yourself and other fellow women each and every day! Be sure to read and learn every day this week about each of our own Wild Side Women here on the blog!

  1. What a beautiful group of ladies! I love everyone’s individual casual style. I found your website when researching Instagram and appreciated your perspective on not maintaining a profile there. I am very minimally active on FB or Instagram and considering removing those profiles. I am very active on Pinterest and simply enjoy it more. I don’t think it can be a good look for my business if my profiles on the other platforms are crickets and no engagement. 🙂 Any thoughts you have about that would be greatly appreciated. ♥

    • Thanks Jeanette! We love to hear that other people have a similar perspective on Social Media 🙂 It really depends on your business whether you leave them up or not. If you do, you could put something in your profile such as “Instagram isn’t really my jam. Come hang out on Pinterest ” and that might encourage people to come to Pinterest who might not have thought of it!
